# Global Program Configuration

## Learn how to create and configure a Global Program

### What is a Global Program?

A Global Program is the parent to Local Programs, that are country specific. A client could decide to run a Program in one or more countries.

### Creating a Global Program

1. Navigate to Global Program
2. Click on the + Add a new Global Program

### Global Program information

1. Enter the Global Program name
2. Select the appropriate Product from the dropdown list
   
     1. If your product does not appear, navigate to Clients \> View the Client and check the product was added
3. Input a Global Program description – *you should avoid special characters*
4. Save

### Activating a Global Program

1. Navigate to Global Program
2. View/Edit your Global Program
3. Activate it
