PMS Expectations & Best Practices
Discover why the PMS is a matter of data, access, support and best practices
PMS is a Global Tool
Keep in mind that the Patient Management System is a global platform that is used by all Programs at Axios. You should only have access to data that is relevant to you. If this is not the case, please flag it immediately to pms.support@axiosint.com.
When adding new information in the system, especially Health Centers, Pharmacies, Physicians, or Charities, check the existing entities. Someone may have done the work for you already!
Data is King
The PMS relies on accurate, extensive data. You are responsible to input as much information as you have, and to make sure this information is relevant and up to date. The more accurate your information is, the more the PMS will be able to help you, and provide relevant functionalities (automated reports, localization, Patient/Pharmacist/Physician Apps,…).
Check your spelling and make the extra effort to fill as many fields as possible to build a strong and relevant database on which Axios will be able to build.

All About Access
The PMS is also about Access. Your access to the relevant section to manage Programs and Patients. If you are not seeing something, it is probably because you do not have the correct access. Make sure to contact your PM if you are not seeing a Program, Patient, Pharmacy or Health Center you should see.
On the other hand, make sure to contact pms.support@axiosint.com if you are seeing things you should not see (other Programs, Patients, or any other data that are not relevant to you). We must strive to guarantee all our stakeholders’ privacy.

Support & Maintenance
A supporting operating procedure (AXI-IT-P-12 PMS Support Policy and Procedure) is present for any issue or request you may have with the PMS. Please follow it to the letter to log, and the support team will address your query accordingly.
Performance and Web Best Practices
- For optimal performance on the PMS, you should use Google Chrome.
- PDF is a universal format, readable on any machine. Documents should be Saved as PDF before they are uploaded on the system

Production and Preproduction Environments
Day to day work is performed on PMS Production environment: https://pms.axiosint.com/
Training must always be performed on PMS Preproduction environment, making sure to use only training data and no real information: https://preprod-pms.axiosint.com/
Access to Preproduction is granted to everyone for training purpose and onboarding. You can use it at any time to test a functionality. Access to Production is granted after the completion of the onboarding and the successful completion of PMS Final Assessment.
Your line manager will contact PMS.Support for Production account configuration. After your first connection, he will be able to assign you the programs you will be working on. Make sure to reach out to him if you don't have access as expected.
