I do not see the physician in the dropdown list when I try to add a new patient

Physicians can only prescribe medication in which they are a specialist. Therefore, if the program combination is configured for the dermatology specialty, only dermatologists will appear in the list.

Check the physician profile to verify their specialties are correctly set up or contact your program supervisor to verify the program combinations are accurate.
