What are the statuses for programs and patients in the PMS?
IMPORTANT
This article is dedicated to Program Statuses and Patient Statuses. If you wish to learn more about Application Statuses or Application Process Statuses, please check the Application Status article.
Program Status
Draft
The Global or Local Program has been created. It should be reviewed for accuracy and validated by the Program Management Lead.
Active
The Global or Local Program is running, and Patients can be managed through the PMS.
Closed
The Global or Local Program has been terminated and closed by a Program Supervisor. Patients cannot be assigned to this Program anymore, and recorded Patients have either completed or dropped out of the Program.
Trash
The Global or Local Program has been deleted, but data is still accessible in the PMS.

Patient Status
New
The patient is going through their first application. This is the twin status to the “Draft” application status.
Pending renew
The patient has already one application completed and is being renewed. Pending renew is a twin status to draft, with the only difference that the patient is being renewed (vs. first application for Draft).
Active
The patient is enrolled and active in pursuing treatment. Their application status is “Active” as well.
Closed
The patient did not reach the enrollment step, and the application was closed. Their application status is “Closed” as well.
Dropped-out
The patient was enrolled and discontinued treatment for medical or other reasons. When dropping out a patient, an alert will trigger if there are some Cycles not validated, with the following criteria:
- Active MedPacks (FOC/Voucher/Donation) with serial number generated or
- Paid/Charity MedPacks with the date of acquisition/administration filled or document uploaded.
Completed
The patient has completed the entire course of treatment planned in the program and has not started the renewal process.
